The Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Materials In Construction (AASMIC) are a linking organisation in the supply chain.
AASMIC were formed by a multi disciplinary group of concerned professionals to promote sustainable materials in construction and an understanding of each others roles in the supply and waste chains.
AASMIC encourage innovative sustainable new materials, disseminate information and stimulate discussion and debate about sustainable materials and sustainable materials in use and related issues. AILDM is an association of qualified landscape design and management professionals who have a sound knowledge of landscape design principles, professional ethics, plants and environmental management. Formed in 1994, AILDM has grown into a strong national organisation, with members in all states and major cities as well as many regional centres.
AILDM designers have design training so they can work with you to make the best use of your land, creating beautiful and practical spaces for all your needs. Communicating these ideas is just as important as the creating, so AILDM members are adept at drawing clear, usable scale landscape plans (including sections and elevations) for you to provide to local government, contractors or for your own future use.

The School of Photovoltaic
and Renewable Energy Engineering
at the University of New South Wales is
internationally recognised for its research
in the area of photovoltaics, most of
which is now conducted under the ARC Centre
of Excellence in Advanced Silicon Photovoltaics
and Photonics. It was also the first organisation
internationally to offer undergraduate
training in the area of Photovoltaics
and Solar Energy, and since then has extended
the educational programs offered to include
postgraduate and research training opportunities.

The Centre for
Sustainable Energy Systems (CSES)
is a departmental centre within the Department
of Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering
and Information Technology at Australian
National University. The roles of CSES
are to provide teaching support for the
undergraduate and masters programs presented
by the Department of Engineering; to provide
supervision for PhD candidates in the
field of solar energy technologies; to
carry out fundamental research in solar
energy technologies (note that solar energy
research is also carried out within the
Department of Engineering but not under
the banner of CSES); and to liaise with
industry partners to assist in the commercialisation
of new technologies emerging.

Environment Institute
of Australia and New Zealand
The Environment Institute of Australia
and New Zealand is the professional association
for environmental practitioners with an
Australia and New Zealand-wide membership
in the public and private sectors. Originally
formed in 1987, as the Environment Institute
of Australia (EIA) it was reconstituted
in 2002 to incorporate a New Zealand Chapter
and thus became the EIANZ. The New Zealand
Chapter was formally launched in May 2003.
